a) EMS International
Items can be sent to over 3,000 destinations worldwide from over 232 acceptance centers countrywide. A track and trace system providing prompt information on delivery is available for most of the destinations in over 75 countries. EMS Kenya also offers customs clearance services for incoming items that are dutiable.
b) EMS Domestic
The service covers over 120 principal towns and locations in the country under:-
(i) EMS Same Day
The service is offered within selected urban, town, municipal and city boundaries only. The items must be posted by 1pm to be delivered on the same day. Maximum acceptable weight is 50kg
Same day zones:
Al - CBD
A2 - 5 to 1O kms
A3 - Up to 3O kms
EMS Overnight
Items accepted for delivery in any of the destination will be delivered in the shortest time within 24 hours. Maximum acceptable weight is 50kg.
Rates are applicable to zones
Overnight zones:
A - within municipality but up to 30 kms
B - 31 up to l00 kms
C - 101 upto 200 kms
D - 201 up to 400 kms
E - 401 up to 500 kms
F - over 500 kms
c) EMS Customized
This is a specialized EMS service tailored to suit EMS customer’s specific needs like moving household goods and the like from one location to other
within the country. EMS courier will pick the goods from wherever they are and deliver them to the agreed location.
d) Bumba packaging
Bumba box packaging is customized for international shipments. The bumba box is available in five convenient sizes branded, Bumba Minor (2kgs), Bumba Mini (5kgs), Bumba Regular (8kgs), Bumba Midi (10kgs),
Bumba Mega (15kgs).
